Last week, I got worried that my milk supply’s declining. I have not eaten any lactation goodies for more than a week, and I have been drinking 2-3 cups of coffee a day. I thought that my breastfeeding journey could be at stake. I got emotional. I do not want it to end yet. No, not soon. I want to breastfeed my daughter as long as she wants.
So, I started reducing caffeine intake to one cup a day. After a day, I got this.
I’ve been hearing a lot about M2 Malunggay Tea drink and Ive been seeing this in the grocery. So, I got curious if this would really help in boosting my milk supply.
I tried it for the first time. I mixed 4 tbsps of M2 with a 12oz glass of water and added some ice cubes since I wanted a refreshing drink (well, of course, it’s summer)
It tastes okay, actually. It’s similar to the taste of black gulaman less the sugar.
It’s a very good alternative to my coffee cravings plus, it’s really effective in boosting milk supply. I’d say I produce more milk after drinking this compared to eating tinola with malunggay hehe
What’s M2 made of?
Malunggay
Gumbo or Okra
Ginger or Luya
It’s a concentrated drink and one liter can make up to 16 servings
M2 also offers snacks fortified with moringa/malunggay. I have tried the Shing-a-ling in cheese and barbeque flavor. I was not a fan of Shing-a-ling until I’ve tasted this. It’s crunchy, cheesy and healthy, too. My husband and I munch on this during our movie nights at home.
M2 is available on leading grocery stores. You may also follow them on Facebook – M2 Lactation Club
